Spreadsheets & Hybrid MT

While studying for my accounting module, I encountered several very familiar verbs that in these contexts didn't make sense at all:

to draw a cheque
to present a cheque
to redeem a mortgage

... considering that I'm hoping to eventually work for some company as a translator, I should really start thinking. Perhaps another spreadsheet for biz vocabulary? In today's lecture what really drew my attention was the little chart about types of hybrid MT systems - another reason to start my spreadsheet!
