Birthday Party Slang

As it happens, once in every single year, we realise that we are getting older ... The thing that made this year's realisation much harder than usually was the fact, that I have already been in this world for a "quarter of a century" ... as one of my American friends gleefully pointed out on my birthday party (bless him!!).
So in the course of eating and drinking several rather (1).............. potato-pancakes which I was so proudly serving, I collected a couple of new words to remember. One of them was the (2).............. which is an American version of table tennis played with 12 half-filled plastic cups of beer and 2 players on each side of a table. I guess that it wasn't the Irish idea of party (3).............. but it was still fun, at least while I was winning. And even more so when I lost and had to run in the rain around the house in my boxer shorts trying not to bump into a (4)..............
